CONTRACT BILLING ADMINISTRATOR

JOB PURPOSE/Summary

 

Performs all activities related to collecting, documenting and processing meter reads. Provides professional analytical skills in resolving and reconciling issues, inquires and discrepancies related to meter reads. Reviews the accuracy and completion to adequately and efficiently process equipment orders.

Edwards Business Systems, an office technology company and authorized dealer for Konica Minolta, Xerox, Lexmark, Muratec, HP and many document solutions, is looking for an energetic, self-motivated contract biller with exceptional Excel skills.  This position is based out of the West Reading office location.  Edwards offers an attractive benefits package, including company paid vision, life insurance and a 401k retirement plan.  Salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Function

Accurately enter meter reads into eAutomate.  Determine the need to calculate an estimated meter read when the situation is appropriate, as well as recognize the necessity to contact the customer by following the meter read SOP.  Process contract maintenance invoices through billing queue for contract billing.  Verify billing queue is current and up to date.  Generates spreadsheet billing for selected clients.

Responds promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing, contract information, meter reads/estimates or any other general billing inquiry. 

Review new orders for accuracy ensuring completeness for processing.  Creates sales orders timely in eAutomate.  Assists with job responsibilities of other contract billing administrators in their absence.

Qualifications

 A High school diploma or GED is basic to the position. Must be proficient in Word and Excel.  Previous experience in an office environment, with a billing background preferred.  

Physical Demands

The position would require the ability to talk by expressing or exchanging information by means of the spoken word, as well as hearing by perceiving the nature of sounds by the ear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Flexibility during peak times might be required, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
