My name is Jim Dotter, I am the President and CEO of Virginia Business Systems, and I am generally located in the Richmond location. What I love most about VBS is the people. It’s great to work with a team that embodies our Core Values and works hard to support our customers and each other.
I work with our team to ensure we set a high standard and put the processes and people in place to best help our customers. To do this, we are open about expectations, ensure we have a format that promotes employee empowerment to do the right thing, and address issues head on. At VBS, we strive to always be a better organization and provider of technology to our customers.
Some of my hobbies outside of work include traveling, playing golf, and skiing.
I have spent over thirty years with this company and have grown professionally and personally. I try to return the favor by helping develop our team members to help them achieve their goals.
